The next big television moment for Gracie Abrams lands on Halloween. She is the musical guest on the 31 October episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Inde Navarette, and the booking arrives 32 days before she opens The Look at My Life Tour, a 64-date arena run that starts at Ball Arena in Denver on 2 December. In between sits the record that put her there: Daughter From Hell, her first No. 1 album.
That sequence makes the SNL slot more than a promo stop. It is the last national stage before the biggest tour of her career, and the first chance for a lot of casual viewers to hear the songs that took her to a first No. 1 album.
The Halloween Booking
Exclaim! reported the booking on 22 October as part of a run of announced guests for the coming weeks. Abrams is set for the 31 October episode, with Navarette, described in the same report as the breakout of Obsession, as host. The episode falls on Halloween night itself, a Saturday this year.
No song choices have been announced. With the album still in its first season, the likeliest candidates are the singles that preceded it: Hit the Wall, which led the campaign, and Look at My Life, which also gives the tour its name.
A First No. 1 Changed the Size of the Rooms
Daughter From Hell was released on 17 July 2026 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 equivalent album units, Rolling Stone reported. It is her first No. 1 album and her best week by some distance. Her previous record, The Secret of Us, debuted at No. 2 in 2024 with 89,000 units, so the new album opened roughly 39% higher than the one that had already made her a fixture in the top 10. Rolling Stone noted that industry projections had pointed to 120,000 to 130,000 units, so the result landed squarely inside expectations, and that her first top-10 single, That’s So True, came from the deluxe edition of the previous record.
The chart week around it was crowded. Parade noted that the album sat above Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love at No. 2, Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem at No. 3, Ella Langley’s Dandelion at No. 4 and Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide at No. 5, which made the debut a statement about her audience rather than a quiet week at the top. It also confirmed what the tour announcement had already suggested in May: that her audience was ready for multi-night arena runs in the biggest markets.
The third album also marks a change in how she is billed. The EPs minor in 2020 and This Is What It Feels Like in 2021, followed by two albums, built her reputation as a confessional songwriter. A No. 1 debut makes her a headliner in commercial terms as well, which is the version of Gracie Abrams that walks onto the SNL stage next weekend.
Inside the Daughter From Hell Sound
The record keeps her closest creative partnership intact. Aaron Dessner of The National, who produced her earlier albums Good Riddance and The Secret of Us, worked with her again on Daughter From Hell, according to Rolling Stone. The writing credits widen the circle, with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Audrey Hobert among the names involved, and the album was later expanded with bonus tracks Love Letter and Out of Nowhere. Her partner, the actor Paul Mescal, has a co-writing credit on Imaginary Friend, Rolling Stone noted.
Abrams described the album’s starting point at an underplay show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York ahead of release. “This album came from being kind of quiet after we had went our separate ways after tour ended,” she said. “Being in your 20s is so strange and weird, it can feel lonely in a new way.”
It is a personal starting point for a record that now has to work in arenas, and a national television slot is the first big test of how those songs carry live. After release she thanked listeners directly. “I’m so moved to hear from those of you who are connecting with the record so far. Your messages have made my heart grow ten sizes,” she wrote.
The Look at My Life Tour by the Numbers
The tour was announced on 28 May, NME reported, and runs for roughly six months across North America, the UK and Europe. The North American leg opens in Denver on 2 December and runs to 20 March 2027, finishing with a four-night stand at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on 16, 17, 19 and 20 March. Parade counted 37 North American shows in all.
Europe begins on 8 April 2027 at Accor Arena in Paris. The UK portion is built around multi-night stays: three shows at Co-op Live in Manchester, two at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow and four nights at The O2 in London, on 30 April and 1, 3 and 4 May. The final date is 28 May 2027 at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, bringing the European and UK total to 27 shows.
Four nights at both Barclays Center and The O2 is the detail that shows the scale. Abrams booked both four-night stands before Daughter From Hell was released, on the strength of her first two albums, and the No. 1 debut in July turned that bet into a sure thing.
Who Is Opening the Shows
The support line-up rotates. In North America, NME lists eight openers across the leg, including Del Water Gap, Grace Ives and The Japanese House alongside Charlotte Lawrence, Bella Kay and Jensen McRae. In the UK and Europe, Samia and Jake Minch take the support slots.
For fans choosing between dates, the opener is worth checking before buying, because the support acts rotate across the North American leg, while the European dates keep the same pairing throughout.
Tickets, Prices and Sold-Out Cities
Presales ran from 2 June and the general on-sale opened at 9am local time on 5 June across all territories. Within the first day, Consequence reported that Ticketmaster listings showed the high-profile markets of New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Boston as sold out, with several shows selling out within minutes of the general sale.
Face value at the time ranged from around $60 to $80 for upper-level seats to $300 or more for premium lower-bowl and floor sections, according to the same guide, which also warned that fees on resale sites can add 20% to 40% to a listed price, so a $200 ticket can easily become $260 to $280 once fees are added. Anyone still looking for a seat for the December and January dates should expect the secondary market to set the price in the cities that sold out first.
What to Watch on the Night
The songs she picks on 31 October may hint at how she plans to open the arena run. Pophits.News looked at a similar moment when Olivia Rodrigo played 12 of 13 new songs to open the Unraveled Tour, a reminder that a new-album tour can lean almost entirely on the new record when the audience already knows it.
For Gracie Abrams, the night of 31 October is the bridge between the album that topped the chart in July and the 64 dates that begin in December. If the performance lands, the hook she chooses is likely to be the one arena crowds sing back first.
