2) JON HENRI – Gravity
JON HENRI is a US-based artist from Kansas City who makes music that sounds like it came straight out of the 1970s—but it’s actually brand new! His songs are nostalgic yet modern.
If you’re looking for something to get your groove on, then JON HENRI’s single “Gravity” is the song for you. This is a super catchy song that will make you want to dance around your room or get up and boogie at a party—it’s just so darn fun!
With a funk/disco-inspired vibe, Jon Henri’s latest single, “Gravity”, is a dance track at 117 bpm with a funk/disco feel. The extraordinary vocalist Marion Hall, who is no stranger to the pressures of being in the spotlight, is no stranger to the sound she has developed into an enthralling fusion of gospel, R&B, and soul, with touches of rap, rock, and dancehall. While that experience provides her with inspiration, it also gives her a sense of vulnerability as well.
The release of her latest single, “I’m Doing Better,” is a testament to the talent she possesses as an artist and her ability to constantly reinvent herself in order to make people love her.
The voice of the artist is so powerful and well-suited to this type of music. The chorus is very catchy and it will stick in your head for days after you listen to it.

4) MINA – Lucky
I’m always on the lookout for new music to listen to and I found a great singer/songwriter on Spotify recently. The name of the artist is Mina, and she is based in London, United Kingdom.
As part of her third collaboration with UK producer Nathan Britton (Ego Ella May, Pixie Lott), she has a cover of ‘Lucky’ by Britney Spears. The tune is a cover of the song.
Whenever you hear this one, you’ll see that they made it into a totally different version. They took their neo-soul influences and turned it into a groovy track that gives this huge song, written by none other than Max Martin, an entirely new perspective.
The song is pop but has a neo-soul vibe to it. It’s very relaxing and has female vocals that sound like they’re coming from another time, but also sound contemporary at the same time!

5) DEKAR JUSTUS – Fallin’
DEKAR JUSTUS is a dream pop singer-songwriter from Evansville, Indiana. The artist’s single, “Fallin’,” is an example of the neo-soul genre.
The song features a catchy melody, soulful vocals, and strong basslines. It incorporates elements of jazz and R&B, making it easy to listen to even for those who are not familiar with these genres.
Sonically, soothing and smooth in all the right ways, this musical piece is a treat to listen to. There is a wide range of audience for this song as it has a relatable message, a full band sound and a catchy hook that will appeal to a variety of listeners.
As the band met the r&b and soul “criteria” for their music, they also managed to incorporate jazzy horn sections and solos, along with alternative singer-songwriter, story-telling lyrics, whilst meeting the r&b and soul “criteria”.
