Pablito Dolcce Lands the Hook on Sentimientos, a Five-Track EP From Renca
A Renca Songwriter Brings Reggaeton, Mambo and Five Collaborators Into Chile’s Urban Wave
The hook of Sentimientos is in its titles before a beat drops: A Escondidas, Dime la Verdad, Dime, Si Tu No Estas and Hasta el Amanecer. Secrets, questions, absence and a night that runs until dawn. That is the story Pablito Dolcce tells across the five tracks of Sentimientos, a reggaeton EP released on 28 June 2024. It lands inside one of the busiest scenes in Latin music right now: Chile’s urban wave.
Pablito Dolcce’s A Escondidas, the solo opener of the EP, is in the playlist below, and his full coverage sits on his artist profile. Sentimientos came to this desk through PopHits.Co Music Charts, which verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news desks. The Chilean Urban Wave That Took Reggaeton From Santiago to the Billboard Hot 100
Over the last decade, a generation of Chilean urban artists has built a scene that now travels well beyond the country.
Paloma Mami was one of the first to break through. The American and Chilean singer began her career in 2018, and her debut album, Sueños de Dalí, arrived in March 2021. Marcianeke is another central figure: critics count him among the leaders of the urban movement in Chile and a key figure in carrying the genre across the region.
Then came the chart moment. Cris MJ gained international fame with Una Noche en Medellín in 2022, and its 2023 remix with Karol G and Ryan Castro reached number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2024 he followed it with Gata Only, a global hit with FloyyMenor. Alongside them, singers such as Pailita and Jere Klein built their own audiences in the same scene.
The result is a wave with real depth behind the headline names. Chilean reggaeton now has international reach, and that is the context an independent EP like Sentimientos arrives into.

Where Pablito Dolcce Fits, Singing Reggaeton and Mambo From Renca on an Independent EP
Pablito Dolcce was born in Renca, a commune in Greater Santiago. His music moves between reggaeton and mambo, and his lyrics lean on emotion and lived experience rather than flash. On his own Instagram he calls himself an artist of Chilean mambo, which places him on the street-level side of the scene.
Sentimientos is a compact statement of that approach. Five tracks run for just under 19 minutes, and the release is fully independent, with the rights held by the artist himself.
It also marks a step up in scale. Before it came two singles, Xuxo X Siempre in August 2021 and a cover of Su Nombre en Mi Cuaderno in May 2023. Sentimientos is his first multi-track release, and the middle of the EP keeps a steady pace: Dime la Verdad, Dime and Si Tu No Estas all run between three and a half and four minutes.
The hook works because the EP is built as a conversation. A Escondidas opens it, at two minutes and 56 seconds, and it is the only track Dolcce carries alone. Every song after it brings in other voices. Anubis el R appears on three of the five, on Dime la Verdad, Dime and the closing Hasta el Amanecer. OhKessy joins him on Dime, and Jhonnyy el duro features on Si Tu No Estas.
The closer is the biggest build. Hasta el Amanecer runs to four minutes and 30 seconds, the longest track on the EP, and it adds Maxifel and TeykoMusic to Anubis el R. So a release that starts with one voice ends with four, which suits a title that translates as Feelings.

The Adjacent Acts, From Marcianeke to Cris MJ
Listeners who follow Marcianeke, Pailita or Jere Klein will recognise the territory: Chilean voices over reggaeton rhythms. Cris MJ shows how far that sound can travel once a chorus catches. Paloma Mami shows the polished, international end of the same scene.
Dolcce works closer to the street than any of them. The collaborations on Sentimientos point to a crew rather than a label roster, and that is part of the appeal. The credits read like a group of friends trading verses, with Dolcce at the centre holding the theme together.
The same habit runs through his single Valido, whose official video brings in Jairo Vera, Jhonnyy el Duro and LushitoFlowmi.
PopHits.News’s curator team: “Sentimientos earns its replay value through its titles and its guests. Five songs, one feeling at a time, and a closing track that turns a solo opening into a crowd. It is a clear calling card from Renca.”
