1) MARCUS MCCOAN – Try Me
MARCUS MCCOAN is an indie pop artist from Cornwall, UK. He’s been making music for years and is also a producer. McCoan is releasing music on streaming services since 2019 and he’s just released his single, “Try Me”.
In the video for “Try Me,” you can see Marcus and band members inside of what looks like a warehouse. The camera pans around him as he sings about love and loss, but it also captures the band members who are playing instruments behind him. The band’s images is explored between close-ups of MARCUS MCCOAN’s beautiful face. This guy is handsome!
The song is super catchy with an electronic rock vibe that will get stuck in your head all day long—and that’s not a bad thing! It reminds me of a mix between The Weekend and Imagine Dragons. It also has some elements of soft rock in there too—mostly thanks to Marcus’ amazing male vocals.
If you’re looking for something new to listen to right now then check out Marcus McCoan on Spotify, follow him, watch his music video and visit his YouTube.
2) ADRI-ANNE RALPH – Make Me Feel
ADRI-ANNE RALPH‘s new single, Make Me Feel, is a refreshing take on the contemporary pop genre. The track is arranged in a way that sounds like it could come from the radio’s collection of pop songs—but RALPH’s voice gives it a uniqueness that makes it stand out.
Ralph’s voice isn’t a super-high soprano, but it isn’t too low either; she sings with a voice that is both energetic and smooth. The lyrics are simple and easy to understand but also speak to deeper emotions than most pop songs do.
The instrumentals are simple: there are no heavy percussion or complex melody lines here. Instead, there is just one piano line throughout most of the song, with some added guitar chords toward the end of each chorus. This arrangement keeps the focus squarely on Ralph’s voice and keeps us engaged by not distracting us with too many unnecessary elements. The pop R&B fusion is just amazing!
This song would be perfect for any time when you’re looking for something relaxing yet upbeat enough to keep you engaged—it would be great for a romantic moment or even just sitting outside on a nice summer day! Check it out, visit the artist’s website and follow on Spotify.
3) KELSIE KIMBERLIN – What We Had
KELSIE KIMBERLIN, a singer-songwriter from Washington, DC, has just released a new single that is sure to make you fall in love with her.
In “What We Had,” Kimberlin combines soft band sound and commercial pop to create an easy listening experience that will have you humming along in no time. The song features Kimberlin’s beautiful voice as she sings about the state of mind we get during a relationship and feelings.
The song is reminiscent of the contemporary pop sound that has been popularized by artists like Adele and Lorde—but with its own unique twist: a classic sound that blends well with Kimberlin’s voice.
While “What We Had” may not be as upbeat as some other songs on the radio nowadays, it still provides listeners with an alternative to the overly-commercialized pop music they are used to hearing.
It’s refreshing to hear something different—and Kimberlin delivers! Check it out, visit the artist’s website and follow on Spotify.
4) PRYMARY COLOURS – I’m Here Now
PRYMARY COLOURS is an Irish band that has been making waves in the indie pop scene. Their single, I’m Here Now, is a perfect example of what makes them so unique: It’s an electronic pop song that has a classic sound but also has a dance commercial feel. The music is nostalgic and fun, with an excellent vocal performance by Prymary Colours’ lead singer Cayisha.
The song starts off with a catchy melody that will get stuck in your head for days. It’s spoken words style, and the first verse also features some pretty cool synth work—the kind of stuff you’d expect from a commercial dance track.
When the chorus comes around, she is still speaking, and we follow, you’ll be singing along like it’s no big deal. You’ll also be enjoying the retro 80s vibe that Prymary Colours gives off in this song—it’s amazing how they manage to mix together so many different styles all at once!
I highly recommend checking out this band. You can follow them on Spotify if you want to keep up with their latest releases, watch their music video, and visit their website.
5) EX EN PROVENCE – How Long Can We Hang
The UK-based band EX EN PROVENCE has released a new single called “How Long Can We Hang” that reminds us why we fell in love with indie pop in the first place. This song is an upbeat number with 80’s vibes and gospel influences that will make you want to throw your hands up in the air and let out a big “YEAH!”
The song features soft-rock guitar riffs and catchy “painfully honest” lyrics that are sure to get stuck in your head—and we mean that in the best way possible!
It is accompanied by an artfully designed video created by Artificial Intelligence Artist PX Studio. This video feeds an AI (artificial intelligence) system with the lyrics, transforming them into images of vivid unconscious hallucinations and morphing shapes.
EX EN PROVENCE has also been compared by producers from PopHits.Co to bands like Coldplay, Vampire Weekend, and even The Killers—which makes sense since their music is also retro style but full of modern features. Check it out, visit the artist’s website and follow on Spotify.
6) SUGAR NOVA – Send Me Higher
Send Me Higher by Sugar Nova is a fresh, new voice in the world of electronic pop. Sugar Nova is an emerging duo from Denver, CO. Their style is characterized by strong female vocals over electronic dance beats, with a hint of disco and house music thrown in for good measure.
Their single Send Me Higher is a perfect example of this combination: it’s got a catchy beat and an infectious chorus that will make you want to dance before the song is over! On top of all that, the vocals are great—you can tell they are making music for years besides releasing a debut single.
When I listened to Send Me Higher for the first time, I was immediately taken about by how much potential there was in this duo’s music. 7) HAZEL – Scream
Indie pop is a genre that has been gaining a lot of momentum lately, and HAZEL is one of the artists leading the charge. The British singer/songwriter’s new single, “Scream,” is an excellent example of how she uses her unique voice to bring you into her world of dreamy melodies and dark-pop beats.
The track starts out with a slow beat that helps you settle into its mood before the vocals come in. The music style is similar to Billie Eilish, Holly Humberstone, and Lorde, which are her main influences.
She sings about emotions, good and bad feelings and makes reference to mental health as well—but it doesn’t sound sad or depressing at all! It feels more like an exciting adventure than anything else.
As HAZEL builds up the intensity of her vocals, she makes sure to stay within her range so that she sounds just right without straining herself too much. This gives listeners a chance to really focus on what she’s saying instead of worrying about whether or not she’ll go higher. It’s all smooth as it should be!
This song is perfect for those days when you feel like taking a break from everything else going on in your life and just chilling out for a bit—and it’s also great for showing off your playlist and musical taste in a romantic moment you your loved one. Check it out, visit the artist’s website, watch her music video which is incredibly sweet, and follow her on Spotify.
8) TAINTED YOUTH – The Prey
Tainted Youth is an indie pop band hailing from London. Their single, “The Prey,” is the perfect song to throw on as you get ready for a night out with your friends. The uptempo beat will leave you feeling like you’re dancing through the streets of London, even if you’re just sitting at home in your bedroom.
The vocals are reminiscent of a dark pop or techno style, but they’re still soft and melodic enough to avoid sounding harsh or abrasive. The track starts off slow, but the chorus comes in strong with an electric guitar riff that really makes it stand out from other pop music out there right now. There is a hint of electronic rock ‘n’ roll here, just perfect!

This song is the perfect combination of electronic pop with easy-listening vocals—it’s like commercial pop, but better. Think of a modern Cyndi Lauper in the 2000s.
The song features QWEHRKE’s signature voice and style, which is both catchy and relatable. It’s easy to imagine yourself singing along with this track in your car on the way to the nightclub or party, the beat makes it perfect for working out too.

The song is reminiscent of the early days of commercial pop when artists like Madonna were experimenting with new sounds to create their own signature styles. It’s got that great 80s feel, but it also feels fresh and new—like a great throwback that still manages to sound modern.
The artist himself has been in the industry since a young age when he released his first single. The track “Before” is his 5th single available on music streaming services. He’s since gone on to have a successful career as both a producer and singer.
