SEAFARERS releasing Bedwetters
In an Ocean of Music, Seafarers Emerge with Indie Pop Anthems That Resonate with Our Souls
The current music scene welcomes a refreshing breath of air as Seafarers, the London-based indie ensemble, sails into the hearts of enthusiasts with their single “Bedwetters.” A unique blend of introspective lyricism and exuberant 80’s Rock, this track from their upcoming album is nothing short of a modern classic, delivering an Indie Pop voyage like no other.
As a music curator at PopHits.News, I hear countless tracks each day, but “Bedwetters” is the kind of banger that stops you in your tracks. Its powerful chord progressions and authentic 80’s Vibes resonate with a time when Rock Pop ruled, yet it remains undoubtedly fresh and current.
The combination of Matthew Herd’s masterful songwriting reminiscent of greats like Jacob Collier and Glass Animals, and the band’s Indie Melodic Pop Rock delivery, positions Seafarers as noteworthy flag-bearers of the UK Culture in music.

Seafarers have this intrinsic ability to orchestrate songs that feel both epic and intimate. “Bedwetters” sports punchy drums and vocals that command centre stage, harmonizing beautifully with electric guitar riffs and old-school synthesizers.
This single captures an Indie Pop spirit similar to bands like The Howl & Hum and Siobhan Miller, while cruising on a distinct streak of euphoric Synth Pop.
Their chamber pop roots are evident, as six long-term musical collaborators elevate the single to soaring heights. The result is Nostalgic yet forward-thinking. Seafarers lay bare the human condition – learning to live with our demons – with a tender and hopeful melody, which, in my eyes, marks them as one of the most resonant Singer-songwriter Bands of our time.
The journey doesn’t end here. To fully appreciate the allure of Seafarers’ unique blend of Soft Rock and Alt Rock Pop, I encourage you to explore their music further. Immerse yourself in the full Seafarers experience across platforms like their Website, X, Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, BandCamp, SoundCloud, and YouTube.
