2) CHRISTOPHER THE GREY – Don’t Move My Mountains
Christopher the Grey is a rapper and producer from Birmingham, Alabama. His music has been described as “rap rock”, but I think that’s an oversimplification of his unique sound.
His distinctive sound is a blend of old school hip hop with the current, relevant sound of hip hop. To put it simply, it is a unique blend of the best elements of both eras.
In addition to reaching the number 5 on the America Independent Charts and the number 122 on the Digital Radio Tracker Top 200 Chart, CtG has also achieved some very nice accomplishments as well.
His song Oh My Damn has received more than a million streams, his sound from Higher has received over 2 million views on TikTok, and he is currently releasing a song with Snoop Dogg.
The instrumentals are really powerful, with a lot of variety—I love how they blend together at times, and Christopher’s lyrics are so catchy—he can really make you feel his words when he raps them!
