TE/MO releasing Tarot Upright & Tarot Reversed
TE/MO Alleviates Musical Mundanity with Insightful Indie Pop Records Hailing From Chicago
TE/MO, the cerebral, spooky-pop singer-songwriter from Chicago, United States, is set to captivate audiences with her latest Original EP, “TAROT, UPRIGHT & TAROT, REVERSED”. As an emerging artist in the Indie Pop realm, TE/MO delves deeper into her artistry, exploring the mystical world of tarot and presenting a balanced blend of lyrical depth and hauntingly beautiful melodies.
Following the success of her debut release, The MOTHER EP, TE/MO offers a profound exploration of human existence through the timeless divination practice of tarot. Released on October 10th, 2024, the TAROT EPs seamlessly intertwine the upright and reversed aspects of life’s intricate tapestry.
Each track is a testament to her growth as an artist, resonating with listeners who appreciate the lyrical complexity and emotive storytelling found in Indie Rock Pop and Synth Pop genres. Us curators at PopHits.News believes TE/MO’s masterful creation is a significant contribution to the contemporary Pop scene. “TE/MO’s music is a transcendent journey marked by lyrical brilliance and an enchanting soundscape that stands on par with the likes of Lana Del Rey and Florence Welch,” we confidently assert. Her collaboration with producers JP Warner and Joey Chelius, spanning LA, Philly, and Chicago, brings an authentic and polished feel to the double EP.
Her tracks offer a thought-provoking narrative on life’s dualities, expertly captured in pieces like “MY NAME” and “WRITTEN IN THE CARDS”. The liberating symbolism of the Devil and the introspective reflections within each song invites listeners to ponder existence from an entirely new perspective. This ability to merge themes of spiritual and everyday life into dark pop and Art Pop melodies distinguishes TE/MO from most contemporary artists.
As TE/MO embarks on this musical odyssey, her unique style and sound continue to challenge conventional perceptions, immersing audiences in realms of magic, discovery, and self-possession. Her evocative performances showcase her ability not only as a singer-songwriter but also as a storyteller who uses music to navigate the depths of human experience, making her a shining star in the Alternative Pop, Rock Pop, and Dark Pop scenes.
